Ali Mosavi Sam is cartoonist, graphic designer, and architect with over 9 years of professional experience in visual design and 6 years in editorial cartooning. He graduated with a degree in architecture in 2017, blending structural creativity with artistic expression in his work. Ali has contributed powerful editorial cartoons to several national news outlets, including 8AM Daily, Amaj News, and Kabul Daily, using his art to highlight Afghanistan’s most pressing political and social issue, especially those affecting Afghan women. His work has received recognition in both national and international cartoon competitions, reflecting his strong voice and distinctive style. Currently, Ali is pursuing a fellowship with the Artist Protection Fund, continuing his mission to speak truth through art.
